Speke’s Camp is situated on the boundary of the famous Maasai Mara Reserve, surrounded by fabulous indigenous trees overhanging the Olare Orok River. Speke’s Camp is a traditional styled safari camp offering a high level of service and cuisine. 24 hours solar power, flushing toilets, bucket showers, and a lounge tent. Speke’s is perfect as a base for exploring the Maasai Mara Reserve, each booking has sole use of private vehicle, guide and spotter, so offering maximum flexibility for game viewing and organising the day to suit you best.

Aside from, arguably some of the best game viewing in the world, Speke’s camp offers a comfortable and pleasant base for exploring the Mara and wonderful sundowners, picnics and bush breakfasts whilst on game drives in this fabulous wildlife location.

Situated on the edge of the Maasai Mara Reserve, surrounded by fabulous indigenous trees overhanging the Olare Orok River. Speke’s is less than a 10 minute game drive from the main reserve. Designed with privacy and nature in mind.

F A M I L Y S U I T E -

Speke’s has eights tents, all ensuite with bucket showers. There is a ‘Family Pod’, two tents set five meters apart. One double and one triple.

Complete freedom with exclusive vehicle use for all guests. You may decide to wake up early and spend the whole day out in the reserve with a picnic breakfast and lunch or have a lie in and head out later in the day. A fun, friendly crew to host you and explore the Mara with!

A C C E S S -

Speke’s is very easily accessible, the preferred airstrip is Musaira Airstrip, approximately a 20 minute game drive away, which is accessed with twice daily flights from Nairobi. Driving from Nairobi is a stunning six hour drive.
