Serian’s Serengeti Lamai is reminiscent of scenes from "Out of Africa". The Lamai Wedge is home to vast resident herds of elephant, buffalo, zebra, and topi with abundant big cats; teeming with floral and faunal abundance everywhere – and what’s better, blissfully empty of crowds. Needless to say, the game-viewing we have access to is world-class, but it’s not unheard of to see the Big Five in a day.
The seclusion of the camp means that you are free to have the run of the place. Comprising just 4 tents, and 2 suites with flushing toilets in an en suite bathroom, enormous wrought-iron beds, Moroccan rugs, and all the trimmings make it simplistically elegant and comfortable. The peaceful intimacy lends itself to exclusive bookings, or groups accompanied by private guides.
SERENGETI SOUTH
Serian’s Serengeti is a mobile camp, and from mid-December to May, we set up on the southernmost extreme of the Serengeti’s short grass plains: prime position to spectate the wildebeest birthing season. Dramatic savannah storms sweep in nourishment and new life, and an innate primordial urge pulls the wildebeest to the site of their origins to reproduce. Millions of gnus and zebra dominate the landscape.

SERENGETI MOBILE KUSINI
As its name suggests – this movable camp was created to make the most of the spectacular wildebeest migration. From December to May, we are perched on the edge of the short grass plains – a perfect vantage point over the vast space where the herds amass to give birth to their young. Nestled in a well-watered wood, ancient trails weave the migration right through our camp. An amazing safari experiences in the wilds of southern Serengeti.
