Sabuk, which remains a family home, offers wilderness and stunning views of the Laikipia plains towards Mount Kenya, as well as the Karisa Hills and Mathews Mountains in the North.

Majestic nights spent out under starry skies , rolling hills and adventures,moments of anticipation, excitement shared with your guides and safari team. Sabuk have been running camel safaris in this area for the past 25 years.
Game such as the Greater Kudu, lion, elephant, buffalo and the elusive African Wild dog are inhabitants of Sabuk, and there is fabulous birding to be had too.the best safari experience is one where you allow the bush to completely envelop you, accompanied by your seasoned and experienced local guides eager to share their deep knowledge with you. Activities on offer at Sabuk including guided walks, day and night game drives by 4-wheel drive vehicles, bush breakfasts & picnic lunches on the river banks, hilltop sundowners, cultural visits, line fishing, river swimming, tubing the rapids & rock jumping (seasonal). Verity also has 3 hardy Somali ponies so horse-riding can be arranged as an extra activity.
There are six spacious en-suite open fronted stone & thatched cottages with private verandahs and stunning views as well as a family unit that has its own exclusive ‘mess area’ and plunge pool. Some of the cottages have ‘star-beds’ as well as the normal bed inside, for when the weather is right there is nothing better than falling asleep under the sparkling African night sky.
