New Managers at Tawi
Peter and Anita, a husband and wife team, are the new wonderful mangers at Tawi. Both have a wealth of experience and passion for the ‘bush-life’.
A little note from them;
‘We got married in South Africa in 1999 and soon afterward, started our exciting life together in the African bush.
From 1999 – 2004, we started managing camps together at Kwando Safaris; Kwara Camp in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. After five wonderful years at Kwara, we moved to Tanzania to manage Migration Camp in the Serengeti. In Tanzania, for over ten years, we had a very special time managing camps in the Serengeti and Katavi National Parks and The Selous Game Reserve.
Moving to Zambia next, onto The Lower Zambezi National Park for two years running Chiawa Camp for the Cumings Family.
We are now very excited to move to Kenya to manage Tawi Lodge, on the stunning foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro!
Both of us are very keen wildlife photographers and use professional Canon cameras, including a variety of top class lenses. Peter uses long lenses as a preference whilst Anita prefers wide angle and macro photography. We look forward to assisting all our guests coming to Tawi lodge in improving their wildlife photography.
Peter has other interests, including Birding, large mammal behaviour and scuba diving, while Anita has an interest in photographing flowers, reading and scuba diving.
We are really looking forward to welcoming guests to our new home, Tawi Lodge.’
